The evening was grand, the guests were thrilled, and Carl Palmer was amazing. Several pieces will exhibit here throughout the summer. Palmer singled out the Annapolis Collection Gallery alone to represent his fabulous aleatoric art. John Bildahl photo

The first president of Historic Annapolis was Charles E. Emery. He was also a photographer. When he died in 1957 he left behind hundreds of negatives. His granddaughter recently uncovered both dramatic and romantic scenes of old Annapolis her grandfather photographed back in the 1940’s and 50’s. This is one of those images. Visit the gallery to see more black and white photographs of old Annapolis.
